The Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science degree completion program (previously medical technology) is available for graduates of accredited associate degree university, hospital-based, or military Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) programs. MLT certification is required for admission. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of both local and non-local practitioners. Program courses are delivered online to accommodate the schedules of working students. ODUGlobal enrollment coordinators for health sciences programs may be reached at healthsciencesonline@odu.edu.
Admission to the University does not constitute admission to the medical laboratory science degree completion program. All program prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C (2.00) or better. Additionally, applicants must be in good academic standing (cumulative GPA 2.0 or greater).
