Minor Film Studies Minor
Requirements
A minor in film studies consists of 15 hours of course work. COMM 270A is a prerequisite for the minor and is not included in the calculation of the grade point average for the minor. Requirements for the minor are as follows.

For completion of the minor, a student must have an overall grade point average of C (2.00) or better in all 300- and 400-level courses specified as a requirement for the minor exclusive of prerequisite courses. Students must complete a minimum of six hours in upper-level courses in the minor requirement through courses offered by Old Dominion University.
Students pursuing a major in Cinema and TV Production, Communication Studies, Media Studies, Professional Communication, or Strategic Communication and Journalism may not minor in Film Studies.
