Requirements

A minor in real estate requires the completion of:

For completion of a minor, the student must achieve a minimum overall cumulative grade point average of 2.00 in all courses specified as a requirement for the minor or allowed toward the minor exclusive of prerequisite courses and complete a minimum of six hours in upper-level courses in the minor requirement through courses offered by Old Dominion University.

The real estate minor is not available to real estate majors.  Finance majors, personal financial planning majors, and risk management and Insurance majors may complete the minor, provided they complete a minimum of nine credits in REST coursework toward the minor.  No more than six credits from the minor may “share” with other areas of the student’s curriculum.
